Festivities in France
It is difficult to equal the experience of arriving at a small French town with the hope to find a bed where to rest and discover the streets full of people, flags and tapes, a band playing in the central seat, all celebrating the patron saint day of the town. In addition to the Day of the Bastille (14 July) and the Virgin Mary Ascension (15 August), the rural southern regions and Britain have traditional festivals, as well as a complete calendar of cinema and music festivals.

One of the festivals that are worth the visit is the InterCelta made in Lorient (Bretagne) in August also the annual meeting of gypsies that becomes in Them-Stes-Maries-of-the-Mer, in Camargue is recommendable. The celebrations of the Bastille Day, the Virgin Mary Ascension and the Celebration of St John (24 June) are characteristic by their bonfires and fireworks exhibition.
