Colmar though a small town has number of tourist destinations, the distinct ones are Collégiale St-Martin, 13th and 14th-century Gothic architecture and has unique combination with the, Mongol-style copper spire. It is a treat to watch such architectural wonders and takes you to the medieval age of civilization. The next destination you are heading to, will be Église des Dominicains museum, The gothic style Église des Dominicains houses number of artistic creation the most celebrated one is by Martin Schongauer painting of La Vierge au Buisson de Roses (The Virgin in the Rose Bush) painted in 1473. If you want to know who are the people who created the statue of liberty then let’s have a stroll in Musée Bartholdi, displays the works and models of Colmar’s native people who created the statue of liberty and memorabilia of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi in the house where he was born. Highlights include a full-size plaster model of the Lady Liberty's left ear. A ground-floor room is dedicated to 18th and 19th -century Jewish ritual objects. The European culture has always intrigued people from all walks of life so to decode there culture and understand people, the easiest way, is to visit the Musée d'Unterlinden museum, it is the house of Gothic-style architecture in which several dwarf-mutant hazelnut trees grow. It has the collection of prints by Martin Shongauer of the medieval stone statues, and an exceptional ensemble of 15th-century Upper Rhine Primitives.
