The Parc National des Pyrenees

The Parc National des Pyrenees

Visiting the Pyrenees National Park means getting closer to the wild world. Getting closer to the nature! Pyrenees National Park was established in 1967 and stretches for 100-km along the border of France & Spain.

The National park homes several endangered species including brown bear, lynx, chamois, marmot, bearded vulture and golden eagle along with others. Lakes at the high altitude offer a calm feeling to the visitors. You will not want to leave this place once you are here.

The national park also has the highest summit - the Sommet du Vignemale - at a height of 3300m. Leisure activities like rock-climbing, mountain hiking, bicycling adds adventure to your trip at Pyrenees National Park.
